• The client, a clinical analysis laboratory, owns different local centers scattered around the country from which they are extract samples analyzed daily.
• The samples are analyzed in central laboratories.
• The transport of the samples from the extraction point to the central laboratories, is performed daily using messaging service.

Requirements

• Our client offers a wide variety of clinical analysis. As a consequence, different devices are required to maintain each of the samples at a controlled temperature. Each sample must be kept at a certain temperature in order to ensure their perfect conservation before being analyzed. The range of temperatures required for the laboratory is broad, ranging from positive to negative temperatures
• The samples storage time at controlled temperature was estimated in 12 hours, anticipating possible delays in the delivery by the carrier.
• The size and morphology of the vials differ, depending on the type of sample. As a consequence, different devices are required to maintain each of the samples at a controlled temperature

Solution

• LVM has developed a wide range of reusable devices, allowing to maintain the desired temperature in each of the samples.
• All devices guarantee the preservation of the samples temperature without any electric support.

Results

• LVM devices maintain the analytical samples at the required temperature, during the time required by the laboratory, with no electricity use.
• Various devices have been designed with different geometries depending on the sample morphology. All samples are kept at the required temperature, perfectly fitted and protected for transport.
