Dr. Lourdes Ventolà Mallart

In 2009, I founded LVM Thermal Solutions with the aim of bringing to market the knowledge I had acquired throughout my academic and professional career. Since then, I have balanced my role as a university professor with the management of this company, specialized in the design and manufacture of devices for the maintenance and control of temperature-sensitive products.

LVM Thermal Solutions was born with a clear mission: to transform scientific knowledge into practical and innovative solutions capable of improving efficiency and safety in demanding sectors such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and food.

​

The design, validation, and implementation of our devices are handled by highly qualified professionals, whose training and experience are essential to ensure reliability in their end use. In my case, as a founding partner, I bring a solid background in phase change materials and their application in the thermal protection of temperature-sensitive products. This specialization was consolidated with a European Doctorate from the University of Barcelona, awarded “Excellent Cum Laude” and recognized with the Extraordinary Doctorate Award.

I also hold the Research Accreditation in Sciences (AQU, 2006) and the National Accreditation (ANECA, 2013), which validate my scientific work. In addition, I have over 25 years of professional experience, during which I have led technological innovation and knowledge transfer projects, presented at numerous international conferences, published articles in high-impact scientific journals, and served as an evaluator and member of doctoral thesis committees.
